I understand that this is still a beta, And that things will change/get better. But im going to write these things anyway.
Sprinting: While sprinting the FOV actually decreases. Its like running in real life with your hands cupped around the sides of your eyes. Why is this here? What does it achieve? If anything, The FOV should increase during sprinting.
Vehicle control: Using one stick to control them is absurd. I cant think of any reason for this either, Unless the goal is to make driving more balanced? I firmly believe that using bad control schemes to balance a game is lazy. There are other ways.
Texture Filtering: It needs to be better. At the moment the textures are only clear at about 2 feet in front of me. It just degrades the quality of the visuals so much.

Spawn Map: At the moment, This is not working well. Its ugly and slow. A more basic 2D image would be better. A snapshot of the battlefield rather than a live view.
Field of View: If this can be increased, Then great. But i understand if it cant. Something like a wider FOV can make the game alot more enjoyable.
MQ navigation: Not being able to walk backwards is a little annoying. And while its nice to be able to walk around and select things, This is made redundant by being able to just press start to access everything.
So grey: Dont be afraid to add some colour, Planetside 2 style. Please.
Movement in general: At the moment it feels like a chore to move and acquire targets. Please take a good look at how games like battlefield handle it, Because at the moment i feel a bit disconnected and that im not in full control of my guy.
View The black gradient around the edge of the screen only adds to the problem of low FOV.
Ill add more as i find them.
And please other players, Reply with rational, calm posts. Im not here to get anyone angry. |

I felt the exact same since day 1 with everything. Sprinting should not affect FOV. I find the vehicle controls not actually that bad. The rendering and texture filter I think will be implemented in future but first they have to improve the servers etc. . The spawn map is nice but like said should nowhere be as as complicated as it is, real time rendering can be a pain with lag. Tbh the backwards thing I find is not a large problem but would be nice. But I concur with movement and colours the most, it's like moving a rusty C3PO in a 16 colour palette world . |
