In the real world there are consequences to treachery.
1. This is a real world definition of 'mercenary', which is what we are. Read it again, SLOWLY, and try to understand each word as you do so.
2. Dust is a VIDEO GAME.

Dust is a VIDEO GAME. I didn't challenge your definition of mercenary you ******. Do you want me to give you a real world definition of treachery?
Well you obviously don't fully understand the definition, otherwise you would understand that the word 'treachery' is irrelevant, in this case.

What treason is being committed if a mercenary fulfils his/her contract? Within New Eden, a mercenary's whole career consists of fighting for different factions. For example, one time you're contracted to fight for Republic Security Service, and the next for True Power, and another for Serpentis Corporation. Is this constant switching of sides also an act of treachery? A mercenary's loyalty lasts as long as his/her contract.
