shame on you warravens!
To address the paying PC players, people don't like you because your leaders bought a team, they didn't build one.
The warravens that snow didn't pay 100 to 300 mil for are just filling space, being carried on the back of players like cryptic soldier and skull whisper. And even still WR would rather field bell gator, oblivion , and noneck (not anymore) over actual warravens members.
So now you've thoroughly disgruntled people, will you crumble in the face of opposition? I'll see you in the morning.

Just remember, payment or not, most of the PC players are pretty much hipsters with no loyalty who will only stick around for a couple of months at best.
Always have an exit, and re-entry plan. Hipsters everywhere

Warrior kill leaves warravens, joins cap acq. Proceeds to flip warravens districts. The very next day bigads benches warravens players to field warrior kill.... Great leaders you have

Great leaders you have When everyone plays for everyone, no one has an identity. Sad, I guess, but PC turned into elementary school draft dodge ball. Personally, I blame CCP for forcing the concept of mercenaries onto the player identity instead of simply making it a thing that could be done. When everyone thinks the ideal way to play is to be without a discernible flag, well... Anyway, I hate to say it but D4GG3R you are probably one of the biggest examples of this. One of the running jokes we had during the FA/AE vs Rust War was that when you bailed on Rust we would consider the war officially over. You're like the Dust version of the ground hog seeing his shadow at the start of spring. Except instead of measuring the length of a season, you measure the length of a war by bailing on whoever you're with at the time. I bailed on FA twice. Why? First time, you no showed all of your battles with AE. Second time? Started no showing your battles against ROFL. I see no showing as giving up, I don't want to fight with a group that has given up. You may see it different, but that is how it is in my mind.
I left rust because of language barrier, I couldn't really communicate with my corp mates.
I left 0H because radar removed everyone's roles and essentially made us unable to do anything.
And now I sit in Opus :)
You may see it as bandwagon corp hopping, but sometimes there is a reason to my abrupt departure. Yes I'm going to bail if you give up, no matter how strategic it may be.

And now I sit in Opus :) You may see it as bandwagon corp hopping, but sometimes there is a reason to my abrupt departure. Yes I'm going to bail if you give up, no matter how strategic it may be. You call it giving up, I call it losing interest. But even if it was giving up, that's perfectly fine. It is OK to give up on a war when conditions are not going your way and the stress levels get too high. You, however, are guilty of something far worse. You give up on people. And you will bail on Opus as well. You are what you are. A person with no home who claims others give up, but who has a track record of doing exactly that over and over again. For all the giving up you seem to think we do, you may notice that our identity still exists and consistently resurfaces to cause trouble. So did we really give up? How many recessions has FA endured and come back from? If ones success in the game is measurable only by specific wars, then you have lost every one you have ever been a part of. If the game is measurable by how well one survives as an enduring entity, you've never really been a part of one. You are a vagabond good sir, and I don't mean that as any kind of a compliment. It is not a good thing to be the butt of leadership jokes about when a war will end. Even worse a true solo player when your only reputation is being on the side of losing wars. Like I said, you may see your actions differently. But that's not how I see it. It's cool that you guys persevere and managed to construct a few rebirths, I'm still good friends with many people in FA.
The point I'm trying to get across is that I'll be the butt of any joke, it doesn't matter to me. I'm going to do what feels right in my mind, not someone else's. I play this game to play PC. If someone voluntarily drops out of PC with no plan of re-entry in the near future I will seek employment elsewhere.
Sorry that I made you upset or struck a nerve with my departure, but for me it was time to dip out.

Himiko Kuronaga wrote:You didn't strike any nerve whatsoever. You've never been important enough to do that.
I'm simply telling you how things are, because there is nothing else to talk about.
Typically I look down on individuals such as yourself who have no direction, no goal, no ambition to create or preserve. Worse yet, your potential as a PC player is stunted because you can't build synergy with anyone. As you're the chatty type, I figured if I didn't let you know that I look down on you as we speak you might be at something of a disadvantage whenever I made a joke about something related to your floaty nature. I wouldn't want anything going over your head if I could help it.
Yet despite this, you do alright for what you are. You could be better, but you've chosen to kill that potential. See? With Himiko you'll never have to worry about anything two faced going on. Doesn't it feel good to know the truth up front before the real conversations start happening?
To change my opinion of you, simply stay with Opus for at least a year and stay active while you're in there. That's literally all you need to do. But as you've already demonstrated you're doing whatever you please, I highly doubt that will be the case.
So you judge the worth of a player based on their loyalty to a corporation? Yeah you're probably right. As much as I would like to entertain the idea of staying in a corp because "himiko said so", I'll more than likely stay until I am no longer enjoying my time in said corporation.
I'm not going to call names or belittle you, I simply disagree. I've made my position clear already. Its unfortunate that we can't see eye to eye.
Thank you for your wise words himiko.
