I'm going the same way you are. I got BF4 and its way more enjoyable than dust alone. The graphics alone are enough to make me stay with BF4, and I only have PS3 version. I have my IRL friends in BF4 and we have our own shenanigans there.

I want to get back into dust but Ive already played everything and have nothing left to go into. I'm getting PS4 soon and will be busy in the grind in War thunder, SWBF, and the new uncharted.

Play for fun?? If you can bankroll whatever you want you'd have no fiscal constraints.
