I'm curious how this is going to go. It's been awhile since I have a played a Trashnation match. I anticipate my team is going to get completely stomped.
I'm only going to play one of these matches though. |

The match was horrible. It didn't take too long before half my team quit the match. I noticed a lot of Proto and Officer Gear coming from the redberries. The match ended 8 vs. 15.  |

one of the major problem of ending up 8vs15 is that there r too many **** n annoyong map in dom, ppl dont even want to play

To counter my Domination match experience I just played a Skirmish match and it was ******* awesome.
We didn't have people quitting in mass which is always great. I didn't see any Officer Gear being run and Proto Gear was minimal; mostly people running around in Advanced Gear. All 5 objectives were changing hands consistently throughout the entire match. Most importantly though is that no one seemed to give up.
It is amazing the extreme difference in gameplay experience between Skirmish/Acquisition and Domination. It's almost like the trashiest players in this game flock to the Domination gamemode. |

i just had a great dom match snatching victory with two ticks and 20odd clones.
best match of my day.

Don't think anyone with an ounce of common sense is saying there are not any good domination matches out there. I have been in the same exact situation & when it works it works well. They are just so few and far between it hurts to try.
However the mode itself encourages the worst out of the playerbase in terms of roof camping, AOE spam, flea circus mercs & over reliance by some on proto/officer to win a public match. Never mind that half a side can leave if they see familiar people/corps/alliances that deal with dom this way.

Guy you are a Merc. Adapt to your situation. 8 vs. 15. Whip out the sniper, forge, PC, or laser and watch em run like ants
I ran into a match yesterday. It was 8 vs 15 but I was on the 15 Merc side and we lost. Over watch on objective was on point. No one could get to the point without getting skull Fluxed by a Thales.

How I would give to play again. Id give away whatever isk and bpos I have just to play one more match. Even if its Dom. I would tear the enemy team a brand new assshole.
Quit whining about lopsided matches.
It works to your advantage.
Sneak in a scout suit near the point,set up uplinks.
Spawn in your 7 meat sheild blueberries.
DO NOT HACK TILL YOU HAVE ALL YOUR BLUEBERRIES.
hack the point,rush out to kill one or two of the incoming reds,die.
Return as logi on your uplinks(be an amarr logi)
Hold the point and keep your team supplied.
I've got a damn PhD in blueberry herding tactics. They might be trash,but at least they can shoot a a gun.
Just keep throwing blueberries at the point and the enemies can't hack it. I've had matches were I threw enough blueberries at the point and because we had only 8 of us the enemies 15 mercs failed to clone us before we wrecked their MCC.
Remember that they might be lacking the ability to even do basic level things,but they do know that shooting at reds get them points. So they will shoot at reds.especially ones hacking the point. Milita weapons are still weapons.
