I am saddened to see old maps become rarer and rarer in the rotation.
Why ? Because the layout was better , providing intelligent use of shapes to create cover and encouraging fights down on the ground.
There is absolutely no doubt, in my opinion,that they are better than the new ones.
The Caldari Production Facility , for example is absolutely crap.
Rattati's idea when adding this map was " adding verticality " to gameplay.
The Production Facility (Large Socket) is a complex structure with multiple levels, creating loads of opportunities for vertical gameplay, with ramps, stairs and plenty of cover.
By " verticality " he definitely meant high ground camping , because that is the only thing that map adds.
90 % of battle one of the whole teams is there with Rail Rifle and Mass Drivers.
I mean, it even has a roof , covering the rafters to protect the campers from getting Orbitaled !!! 
I just want the best maps back in the queue more often ;
( This one queues up pretty foten , but lags horribly , so it technically doesn't count therefore , fix the lag on this one )

TLDR ;
Maybe it is just me , but the old maps are numerous times better than the new ones that provide crappy matches with lots of camping and bad layouts.
I just want them being chosen as equally as the new ones.
Who agrees ?

The older the map the better the map (crater lake anyone?) That said, CCP has had a lot of issues with the older maps, lagacy code and all. We really just need to #portdust514 and start over fresh. I hate to say it, but maybe legion wasn't such a bad idea after all.

The guys that quick after it's announcement didn't understand how outdated the ps3 was getting.

The older maps need to be placed in the rotation as much as the newer ones. Or give us NEW maps
