Unfortunately, that's exactly what will be happening - the easy/cheap options. Without a port, the game simply has no real future prospects. I don't much care to debate whether it should be PC, PS4, or whatever, but it simply won't be able to continue for long on the PS3. I imagine CCP sees DUST as too much of an investment for too little gain to give DUST much support. I hate it, but I can't see anything else happening, really.

I can safely say that I have never done a PC match or had a hand in "ruining the game".
EDIT: I did run my first proto suit on my main yesterday. Amarr Assault w/ an Exp ASCR. Only had one of the XASCRs and the suit though, then I ran out of Amarr LP and lost my only XASCR. :P
Lost the suit within a minute and a half of spawning out. Got punched to death. Much fun.

tell me something if we werent using our protos in pubs where else would we use them?
pc isnt even a viable ******* game mode it runs at .25fps...you qq about you new players not getting to do pc but what you dont realize is we are saving you from a living hell this game has one mode that runs semi ok and its pubs semi ok being 720p 20fps
as for fw is hardly better than pc when it comes to laaaagggg

Why bother with something that is broken? It's like...trying to fix a PS3 to play one game, even though you know the game is the reason why the PS3 doesnt work. There's no point in trying to fix it, or in this case play PC, because the mode is broken and doesnt even work most time, as you said so yourself.
I dont play the game because I like the gameplay. I play the game because I like the people I play with. Dicking around in FW and pubs is a hell of a lot more fun than try-harding against some other people who are try-harding, imo. But to each their own.
TIL that I help ruin DUST 514 by not playing a broken "gamemode", for lack of a better word, that works on "rare occasion[s]".
How many others are with me and causing ruin to the game? Sound off!

Do yourself a favour guys take a short break for a while. It's what I do and it keeps the game a little more fresh for every time you come back to play a while.
But yes beating the old dead horse - we all wanted so much more for this game (that actually is there partly but obstructed by bugs and lag...)
Oh and PS4 + XboxOne are both already struggling with latest titles. PS4 and Xbox can barely handle Fallout 4 @ 20 FPS when there is a bit of action. (Terrible)
Do yourselves a favour and get a PC gaming rig. They really aren't as expensive as you think and are well worth every penny. |

omg just watched a youtube video of it on ps4 why is it stuttering like that ps..if your a pc gamer and you havnt already look up how to remove the fps cap from the game it runs way better when not capped to 60

The one sad thing I note is that there hasn't been a good blue tag in a month. I know they are working on the next release, but one little blue tag isn't hard, especially since Fan Fest came out.
The optimistic in me has died for this game. I will be in the November event but other than that, I have hung up my HMG.
Since the PS3 died, I think CCP should pull back and do what all good game companies do, "Steal someone elses fing brilliant idea that died on the vine."
Please add in the best game you have ever seen that involved spaceships and a FPS.
I would say Star Wars Battle Front 2 would be a great game for CCP to rip off and just rebuild Dust around that. You ride on someone's ship, they take down the shields and marines take it from the inside. Done and Done.
