Why can i not jump out of my dropship without committing suicide?
It is very annoying. There needs to be a fix on this among other things. Everything in this game is fcking broken. I dont know why i keep bothering to play. Just seems like best way to survive is not to engage in anything in the game anymore.
Starter Fit Suits are OP :-)

Often depends on speed and how you angle your dropship before bailing. Generally, you will pop out on the starboard side of the ship, so bank dropship stern to port so when you pop out the ship doesn't collide with you.
You might also be colliding with the starboard turret. Remove that, for safer emergency exits.

Real tankers go down with their tanks as do real pilots go down with their ships. If your bailing because your ship got pounded you deserve to die.

keep calm and jump... and hope your dust merc doesn't doesn't go flying into a nearby wall and kill yourself... happens to me more than the dropship killing me.

Real men drop out right after their dropships reach 0 hp and start plummitting towards a nearby roof top.
I hopped out, wanting to land myself on that rooftop full of swarm launchers for easy kills, but as I hopped, I got squashed. I didn't deserve to die.

I did say IF it was because you got pounded. If your attempting mad rooftop raids its much more effective to equip a mobile cru and have your squad mates jump out for you.

because only scrub pilots bail real pilots go down with the ship? either that or your drop ships dont like the way you treat them

perhaps instead of sucide it should state you jumped out of a fast moving vehicle and hit part of it. ie accidental death.
kinda sorta realistic really. whats not realistic is being able to teleport out of the pilots seat in the first place. |

Sorry but my clone should be able to bail. Im not a tanker or a real dropship pilot. I just like to fly around.
