I have found that it sucks to open up Strongboxes and not receive anything that you would actually use in the game; whether it is Officer Gear or Aurum Gear.
I think it would be a cool idea to implement Factional Strongboxes. The idea behind this is so that when it comes time for me to open Strongboxes I can choose to open Gallente Factional Strongboxes that would reward me only with Gallente Gear.
Factional Strongboxes would help increase the chances of someone actually receiving something they want and would help limit the disappointing moments when a person opens 10 Strongboxes and doesn't receive anything they would actually use. I think it would also help incentivize people to purchase more Keys so that they could open more strongboxes.
What do you people think? |

It's a good idea but I think it could do with some tweaks, rather than choosing a fraction for the box itsself how about, say u play gal fw you would receive (idk 2 boxes) but however to actually be able to open that box, you would need to win a battle for that fraction.
On a side not u would only receive basic to proto weapons from that fraction NOT officer or exp

Why not factional decryptor keys that make any box give that factions gear, and you get them as rewards for winning fw matches?
you ever get to that point where you know you should sleep, but ya just...dont? yeah...me too.

I would want Officer Gear in my Strongboxes. Without Officer Gear available Strongboxes would mean nothing to me. |

Agreed but only as standard drop rate for boxes now.

Say you play a few matches of gfw.you get a gallente box. What would be in it?
Would it be much rarer than a standard box and have a chance of faction skins and officer gallente gear?
