My opinnion. Its because all we do on the forums is ***** and moan about Dust.
Wouldnt you get tired if all you heard from people was how the game youve but youre best efford in sucks and say youre going to strike because of it.

I'd argue they do not 'ignore' us, they just lack resources currently to be able to respond that much on the forums.
Assuming they are hard at work on the next release, they have far less time to chat around leaving that up to the CPM / GM Archduke. Due to their own limitations though they do not have permission to share NDA information and thus don't engage in discussions where they might slip.
That and the community has pretty much drilled in the fact that they have no desire to hear "things are coming guys" without anything to put behind the statement. So you either show it or shut it.

CCP is silent because they will not make promises there is not a 100% guarantee they can keep. When there is a 100% assurance that what they say will come true, they will speak, but until then there is a necessary - if unfortunate - air of silence.

You should know that our boycott is in no way aimed at the Devs. We are immensely grateful for Rattati and Co's extraordinary efforts to save the game after FF14. The boycott is aimed at those who make the decisions about the game's future and who choose to keep us in the dark.

In all honesty, they don't ignore us.
We may not have as much feedback as we did when Rattati and Logibro were more active, but Archduke has stepped up and has been rather active lately even if he can only say so much.
My impression is that certain people want to hear very specific things, and when they don't hear exactly what they want, how they want it, when they want it, they consider it being "ignored."
Frankly, many are coming off as entitled and self serving, regardless of what their true motives might be.

Oh, in that case, please do show me what they've been saying about the future of the game. I must have missed it.
It's not that I'm annoyed that we haven't been told DUST will be ported (don't even mention Legion). What we're annoyed about is that we haven't been told anything. At least put us out of our misery, CCP.
That comment about us (me) being self-serving is completely unwarranted. I just want an end to the silence, whether it be good or bad news.

For the umpteenth time, we are very grateful for Rattati and Co's efforts in saving the game after FF14. This boycott is directed at the higher-ups, who make the decisions about the future of this game and choose to keep us in silence.
