It more like all of CCP's revenue from all of its games goes to CCP HQ and they decide where to focus thier cash and their priorities likely in this order:
1) EVE ONLINE: because its the cash cow, the breadwinner, king of the companies' IP
2) Valkyrie: because Occulus Rift + VR tech demo with a focus on the future
3) GunJack : Mobile VR demo to show what CCP can do for the future of mobile games as well
4) DUST 514: Last gen monetized free-to-play lobby shooter
Cold hard truth right there, and though i put up a few bucks from time to time, i'm in no way disallusioned about where Dust is on the family tree.

but your going abit too far. CCP has to plan thier resources like any business, and of course dust is going to get the short end of the stick. No way should any business spread thier resources out evenly, (imagine Eve gunjack geting the same dev resources as Eve online) and DUST is a last gen game.
Its the hard truth that we as DUst players have to accept, that it isnt going to get as much love as the big brother, or the new little bros, but that middle kid, while appreciated, is still lacking in attention.
Sure i want some nice things, (such as a bloody finished warbarge for one) but i dont expect eve level investment, or valkyie level investment for that matter.
Because the future of CCP as a gaming company rests on those titles, not Dust.
