First, it there is an EVE based FPS moved to newer hardware, it is not going to be a straight port. It will be closer to a sequel.
Second, given that, and given the fact the PC audience does not greatly overlap with the PS audience, there is little reason to arbitrarily end Dust on the PS3, and it would be a tremendous insult from CCP to do such a thing until the business model says its time.
Frankly, I think it was his intention to be insulting and inflammatory, or at best he is demonstrating a narrow mindedness.

@ OP
Fair enough, and I went back and read through your posts I missed.
While I can see the possibility of them just shutting down, I cannot see it as a major possibility. So long as the game is profitable, it will be online. You can say what you will about dying this and that, but the most populous online CoD game is still BlOps 2, which has no current gen version. Perhaps they are all on PC, but they did not break down the numbers.
Either way, as I said regarding the needs of the business model, it would be foolish of CCP to throw away money just by arbitrarily picking a date.
Not to mention the uproar, and disenfranchisement if they do not give enough warning, and I don't think that Q2 would be enough, though no one can be certain.
RE: Legion announcement, it wasn't just a shift from UE3 to UE4. There were a number of arrangements that changed systema completely, especially dropsuits. And I can't imagine CCP moving to PC or even PS4 and having the same EWAR.
All that in mind, while I agree that the PC is the most likely next step, it will not be a straight up port, and I do not see enough people leaving from the PS3 to PC to suggest Dust will no longer be profitable to run alongside "Legion" or whatever they wish to call it.
As an aside, I can tell you that if I made a gaming PC it would be to play Star Citizen and Star Marine, not anything EVE related.
