The showing that the community is willing to come together in an attempt to send CCP a message. This creates the necessity to look at future similar activities which are in no way good for CCPs bottom line.

Players who don't know about this spending even more amount of time searching until they give up and move on possibly to never come back. Trust me right now the last thing CCP wants is more players leaving than is already happening.

Just a tiny amount more AUR left unspent meaning it stays on their liabilities sheet meaning that is less money they can show investors to rationalize why they have been stewing in nothingness for so long making the company look bad.



The simple fact of it is companies only care about balance sheets at the end of the day so having the community show that they are willing to threaten that balance sheet should the mistreatment from upper level management continue sends a very strong message.

Star wars battle front is coming on the 17th.

Many other games on next gen are going strong and pulling players away. The timing is meant to build in with the natural loss of players which is already starting and will only grow as more people grab up black friday deals on PS4s and run away as well.

I have already jumped to PS4 but still come back to Dust every day for a couple of battles and a PC here and there. I know personally that leading up to the holiday sales there are tons of players who plan on making the move as sales happen.

I've played 4 games in 2 months. Currently playing AOE HD and Destiny from time to time, and have easily avoided dust.

The game is aging and dying. It NEEDS a port to another system with updated hardware. The devs have already said that you basically need an SSD to get any considerable frames out of it.

And those other games have already killed it for many people. There are a ton of vets I've known that don't even touch this game anymore. They have moved away to bigger and better things.

Dust 514 could have been something special and at one point I very much enjoyed it.
But from the few games I've played it's rather obvious that the games getting worse
before it gets any better. It aimed way above the PS3's capabilities and will suffer for that.

I think all people really want is conformation their game will continue. And I wouldn't mind it either. I still follow the latest news and prowl the forums but the game play has become stagnant. I can only do the exact same repetitive motions so many times before I get bored and move along.
