Sorry to hear you guy. You sinus like the problem you could have is input lag given it is much harder to aim. Do you use HD? Also, can I have you gear and isk please??

Hi all. Today, I came up to decision that I will leave Dust 514 forever. I began year ago(1 year and 6 months but those 6 months were mostly inactivity) and I had very hard time struggling with aiming with controller since Dust 514 is my first FPS i ever played with a controller. From time to time I kept growing and improving my aiming but I couldn't keep up with vets. I raged ALOT and almost broke controller with my fist(not mentioning i broke desk drawer with upercut punch LOL). Dust was only game i spent more that 200 hours playing,I have more than 1800 hours ingame and 56 million SP.

Now to reasons why I leave this god foresaken game:

1. Jumpers with MD aka magomed9876 and rest of maggots following his steps.
2. Every time I deploy in match I play with/against same people, CPM say we have 3000+ players... O RLY?!
3. People leaving matches...
4. No actual improvement in this game, every patch/hotfix is like: nerf this/buff that
5. Proto tanks in public matches, I don't need to explain this ****
6. No news about future of this game so I assume it's dead.


After year and half of unemployement I finally found a decent job and I can't see reason why I should give my free time to this game... For those who thinks I will come back, nah, my PS3 is formatted and will be sold in a couple of days.

If there will be PC port of this game, we will beet again but this time I will come with more than 10 CS/BF vets and then it will be ugly

P.S. I hatemailed like 40% of community and I hope you will forgive me for that

Why isn't CCP realising that they're killing off their playerbase???

To answer your question Dreis. They do know, but they're gambling on the playerbase staying alive long enough until they're ready to make an official announcement on Dust's future beyond the PS3, hoping numbers will recover afterwards.

Do you really think they intend to port the game eventually? I think they're just going to milk us for all we're worth then let us die on the PS3.

I don't really place all the blame on CCP. Not one of us can. Look at the bs in pubs. Proto/Officer stomps, MD jumpers, PRO tanks, bullshit, bullshit and more bullshit from the damn playerbase. We are never going to grow if we continue to drive off the new players. Our playerbase IS shrinking but dammit, it is just as much our fault as it is CCP's... Now, they could implement some type of "safe place" for the newbros but hell, the vets would probably just make new account and go stomp them there.

I have to agree with this. CCP has its faults, but this playerbase is toxic. I made a proto suit made up of nothing but the "free" stuff ive gotten from missions and salvage last night. Ive played a handful of games using nothing but that suit (I usually play pubs in adv gear,) and its insane how much better Ive done. Nearly every match Ive gone 20+ kills with only a death or two, in a hodge-podge proto suit...

I really dont see how vets can feel good stomping noobs in proto, or worse yet officer gear, day in and day out. I can only imagine that it is killing the fun for both vets and noobs..

Sorry, all ISK and gear will be on my account because my left ball think this game will be ported to PC somehow.... I am not leaving because i am bad at aiming( I am very decent now) but because this game went from good to shithole.

This is never an argument - railing against human nature. It's a game design problem pure and simple. CCP created these problems with poor design decisions and refuses to fix them.

The ownership and responsibility for the crap we deal with on a match-by-match basis sits squarely in CCP's lap.
