I use proxies and their BW is unnoticeable because it's so small that I can lay a trap with PRO and ADV proxies and then use links and hives and still have my mines active . I know another player who has BW issues with proxies, which is why I stated it. In which case it may not be a factor for all, but is a factor none the less. Perhaps it has to do with the number of proxies needed to be effective.
I do not have problems with BW as a whole, but I do think that in some niche situations it has had unintended consequences.
Besides, as I suggested before, it is merely one of a number of factors. BW may be wieghted less, but I don't think it is a non factor.

From what I hear packed REs often times do no damage.
Perhaps that has changed recently, but I know they increased the radius because of the problem, and I hear it was not effective.
