and here is why, i wanted to run an honest trade channel when player trading was announced so i created player trade but couldnt run the channel, why? because i wasnt paying a subscription to a different game at the time. weird i know. so when it all went pear shaped i asked a pilot to help me remake it, but couldnt rely on the pilot to be on all the time and help and now the channel is corrupt. the thing is even though i hadly play anymore, i would love to make a trade channel that has as many traders as the last two and stays honest but the only way it can be done is to get EvE online sub. why? sorry but i have to pay 10 quid a month to subscribe to a PC game just to be able to run a chat channel in dust? where is the sense? especially since for the past year i put that same amount in Dust weekly to sell skins and stuff, the whole 'yes you can get scammed' is fine, but the ability to stop/prevent this is only really available to pilots in EvE. I see it on facebook constant about various trade channels that have gone to **** and its actually sad to see, CCP isnt supposed to influence events in our universe apparently yet with things like this its exactly whats happening,
CCP please give us as merc's the same abilities with channel management as pilots have.

we start a trade chat with a hanfull of trusted traders. invite only. we keep a record of who invited who, and if anyone gets scammed that person AND the person who invited them get the boot.
the problem is there is no real way of proving a scam without a trade log. hint hint ccp.
the thing is trusted traders can add scammers, EvE support is essentail to manage channels, even a trusted trder can wake up and think 'forget dust' and scam people, Eve management is the only solution brother
