So my proposal to mitigate rooftop campers is to install ladders on some of the more regularly camped areas people use dropships to get uplinks onto.Thoughts?
you ever get to that point where you know you should sleep, but ya just...dont? yeah...me too.

Why, so you can pay even less attention while you rooftop camp? If someone is "rooftop camping" then they can either be taken down with a sniper rifle, forge gun, or by going up there with a dropship yourself. Throwing ladders up all over the place just gives scrubby, spiteful players a means to cheap exploitation. Why not just give them a weapon that can shoot through walls and tank armor? Hahaha OK yeah because the rooftop campers ARENT the scrubs here. Ok yeah...that's funny. Wrong but funny.

I'm in favour of ladders everywhere. Wouldn't fix the problem of heavies not being able to traverse the current terrain (such as the support columns on the pipe map or some of the small curbs they run into all the time). That being said I agree there are a plenty of places that adding ladders makes sense (like what was done to the pipe map). Too bad we probably won't see them since that isn't the type of thing you can do in a hotfix. Really? **** I thought they added the ladders to the pipe map in a hotfix...ah well perhaps I'll bring it up again before the next build.

If rooftop campers are the scrubs, then why do you need to get to them? because a scrub with a gun can still shoot. If they aren't scrubs why will they be unable to properly defend the position? It's not like climbing ladders doesn't make you extremely vulnerable. Pay attention and you can camp to your hearts content, if you are really that scared of someone sneaking all the way up a ladder to threaten you, it just goes to show who the scrub is.
