Hmm, let me explain. Get a Solid State Hard Drive, youtube the install process.
After that, go to PS3 menu :- Settings> Game Settings> PS-Upscaler [Full Screen]
The SSD loads high res textures quicker. Dust looks as good as the trailer.
Me and Bigdad also tested with his new model PS3 Superslim. Just as good. It uses Flash memory as HD.

Editing original post. Do 'THIS' first. Tell me how it works out for you, graphics and gameplay wise, regardless if you have Solid State Drive (but get one)

A note on that Parallax update for Eve last night. There is a major server boon by the way of this:-
Technical:
Brain in a Box and Dogma Rewrite: Performance optimization (mostly for fleet jumps and for Jita) and code refactoring of core systems of the EVE codebase. This includes a full code rewrite of skill training, fleet bonuses and the heat system - but without any functional changes. This change enables possibilities for further performance improvements and game design changes. More details about this will be available soon in a Dev Blog.
They did some number crunching for the Skill Tree, and the foundation has been laid for future improvement. Hopefully the benefit trickles to Dusties in some way, even if it is lag reduction for Faction or PC... time will tell.
O.K, keep those comments coming.... but get an SSD.

It doesn't do anything else. Yup it is just placebo effect i tried similar approx. year ago ;)
Yeah, The BD upscaler sucks, starts stutter. The Game Settings Upscaler works nice though.
Again, get a cheap SSD. It's impera...um, really good
