There may be a glitch causing a discrepancy between when the game begins/ends the countdown and when you visually enter/exit the redline. AKA - StarVenger- Horizons' Edge

I was on the losing team. I chased a shot gun scout into the redline and just as I was about to kill him with like 6 seconds on the timer my little blue berry popped :(

What part of the timer not counting down at full speed is confusing for you. It is a freaking display bug. Let's say you have a clock that the second hand is messed up and takes 1.2 seconds to countdown 1 second. In an actual 20 seconds that clock will have only shown that it has been 16.6667 seconds. It really is not rocket science. Obviously I am not the one having trouble using my brain.

A simple search would have made this thread never exist. This glitch has been explained and explained as well as a ton of proposals that reinstalling fixes it. I do not agree with those proposals completely but it does seem to make it a little less frequent. TL;DR I CAN RAGE IF I WANT TOO o7
