To perform the glitch:
While in battle, open neocom and select dropsuits. Restock a fit. Immediately after you press X, tap the start button twice in rapid succession.
The killfeed and various notifications will still show up. I cropped the screen to get rid of those.

I feel it should be known that the CPM and CCP are pretty much in agreement that HUDless mode is an awesome feature that should be incorporated.
Now, whether or not it -can- be incorporated is a completely different story....
