What are the damage profiles for laser weapons(scrambler rifle) and railgun weapons?(rail rifles)

I have a bad feeling if I calculate the DPS of the scrambler rifle vs other weapons I'm gonna find ugly results

Lemme get to work on that. All complex and a viziam scrambler rifle to boot. Plus that meaty 15 percent damage to sheilds.

Base damage for a viziam(very rough math here)(vs sheilds only)
Profile alone:71.5+20%=85.8
Profile plus prof. Bonus=71.5+35%=96.5
Profile,prof,and 18 from complex damage mods(that's what the stacking penalty calculator said,the page was last updates Oct 2013ish )
71.5+53%=109.3.
Viziam vs armour
Profile alone.
71.5-20%=57.2

To a point you have to remember that the longest ranged weapons also tend to have the lowest overall DPS.
The rail rifle has the AT&T advantage: Reach out and touch someone.
The kind of touch where they show you on the doll.
