No sh*t. You're comparing a library that is like 10 years old to one that is barely 2.
Anyways I don't think they're making anymore Resistance games but who knows. I really enjoyed to just kickback at it and the weapons were cool.

But seriously, take of your cape and get off the sandcastle. You can't get people to become part of you when all you scream is about peasants and your elitist ways... PC is better than Console without question because you're comparing technology that are years apart. You are driving people away from PC not to it. This is why I only play single player games on my PC...

The point is consoles are a waist of funds, manpower and resources that could be better spend on a pc stable version.
Imagine Eve on a console, it would send it 5 years back in time, with a hole lot less to play with. Now imagine Dust on a PC, it would send it flying into the future.
First a good game must be created on the PC, with better webs woven into Eve. Then they should consider porting to consoles. First A then Z not the other way around.
OW and CCP Rip the band aid allready and PORT DUST514 to the PC
Considering they hand no FPS, console, and cell architecture experience... It was clear DUST was going to fail. The PS3 was already a hard console to work with. Reason why you only saw Sony making great games because they built the damn thing, then the rest followed the later years. Yes, DUST would have been better off on PC at the start since they had a base, but that doesn't mean it can't be done on consoles. If CCP hired people with console experience and marketing it would have been a different story too.

It simply could not handle everything they wanted to fit on it. There comes a point where you need to stop looking at optimization and start looking at better hardware, and DUST + PS3 was definitely that point.
Eh, at least then we would have had a better run than we have now. Hopefully CCP listens and announces something at Fanfest...
