This is how I feel the gamemodes should be set up.
Ambush
1) Standard, Advanced, and APEX Gear only 2) No Squads 3) Increase clone count for each team from 50 and 80 to 75 and 150.
Purpose - for mercs to practice running different roles and using different fits as well as providing a means for mercs to learn to develop some situational awareness.
Acquisition
1) Standard, Advanced, and APEX Gear only 2) No Squads
Purpose - same purpose as Ambush except now mercs will learn to move around the map to take and hold objectives.
Domination
DOMINATION IS TRASH AND SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE GAME
Skirmish
1) Standard, Advanced, and APEX Gear only 2) Squads Allowed
Purpose - allows an opportunity for mercs to apply the skills they developed in Ambush and Acquisition to running with a squad. This will also serve as an opportunity for squads to learn how to run cohesively with one another so that they can handle running with the bigboys in Faction Warfare.
Faction Warfare
1) No restrictions on gear (this gamemode will most likely be rampant with Proto and Officer Gear) 2) Large Squads Allowed
Purpose - to allow mercs the opportunity to fight for whichever faction they are loyal to and to give mercs an opportunity to have a direct affect on what goes on in Eve. Faction Warfare will also serve as training grounds for competing in Planetary Conquest.
*I did not list Militia Gear anywhere because I would like Militia Gear removed from the game and replaced with more racial variants of weapons and vehicles.
What are your thoughts on this? |

Why you want to cut squads from game? Honestly, HELVETE WHY?
Do you really thing this is what the game needs? More loners in game modes?
Its basicaly nonsence.
Oki i have question, with how many friends/squadmates are you playing in weekly basis?

I agree with all except removal of domination.
Domination should be vets only mode 50 mil sp above should be use for grinding isk for loner vets.

What would help the game is if they fixed the glitches and lag.

1) My suggestion keeps squads in the gamemodes where squads are actively able to kick my *** in.
2) My suggestion is not meant to benefit me but is instead meant to benefit the overall playerbase with a particular focus on new players as well as benefit the actual game itself.
3) There will still be gamemodes where you can squad up with your friends.
4) My suggestion provides a path for mercs to progress into playing with squads in Faction Warfare which I feel should be where the majority of the action in this game is at since that is where a mercenaires actions have a direct affect on Eve.
5) Do you have an issue with your memory or being able to pay attention to who you play against in matches? I have whipped your *** and your squads *** plenty of times in Acquisition while I am running solo. If you would pay attention you would realize that I do not need these changes to help me do well in this game. If I get my *** whipped and can't easily figure out the best way to counter such an *** whippin then I simply come to the forums asking for advice. The reason I want some changes to how things are is because I want this game to survive.
I am pretty sure the only reason you are against removing squads from SOME of the gamemodes is because you either know you won't be able to handle yourself without someone holding your hand or you're afraid of having to handle any extra challenges on top of the challenges you already face in this game.
As for glitches and lag.
Glitches will be fixed when revenue from this game allows it. To increase revenue we must increase the playerbase which is what I am trying to do with my idea.
When it comes to lag I am very confident that the majority of lag is caused by players not playing within their respective server region. People don't play in their respective server region because the playerbase is too small right now for players to easily enter matches in those regions. Increasing the playerbase will help with queue times in all server regions (so long as the playerbase increases respectively).
*Editing to add that lag will also decrease if we give Central and South America their own server region to play on. This would cost money though which in turn requires a larger playerbase. |

Good innput!
I would go for:
Ambush

1) Standard, Advanced, and APEX Gear only 2) 2-man Squads 3) max 2 wehicles pr team 4) objective change more often to more interesting places, dissable domination objective spot
Domination
1) Standard, Advanced, and APEX Gear only 2) I don't know why some of you people like this gamemode but whatever... 3) 4-man Squads 4) Wehicle combat activatet
Skirmish
1) Standard, Advanced, and APEX Gear only 2) 4-man Squads 3) Wehicles on

Corp battles with high salvage for the winner. Good isk payouts 16 man squad

My current idea has squads for all gamemodes.
My idea is to increase the available size of squads throughout the gamemodes to serve as a means to help players progress into playing Faction Warfare and Planetary Conquest. |
