I watched this video, and though it was for eve it made me think....
Why aren't we fighting on these structures in dust? To the point, why have we been limited to simply ground combat upon the planets surfaces?
I understand we've driven the ps3 to it's limits, but I'm leaning this toward the future of dust514 combat! Battles on infastructure that is suspended in space. Stations, giant wreckage, etc. The aftermath of old battlefields and such.
Also, would love to see maps like fracture road get some revamps in domination especially. Everyone seems to hate that map?!
Just thinking out loud.
Thoughts?

Anymore dreaming of what Dust 'could be' is just painful now. So many false dreams, lies, and false hope. |

I really hope at some point I get the chance to see a Dev write about wtf went wrong. Sure, some of the promised features were a bit far fetched but how the heck did Dust end up nothing more than a match-made shooter with a really grindy skill tree and a boring (and problematic) next-unlock-more-powerful-than-the-last progression system?
Something is killing new player retention.

That's not going to happen. I don't think I've ever seen it in the gaming industry, either.
Everything is:

We are sorry for the bad news. Here's a shiny in-game item for your trouble and hope we can make the game better together. See you on the battlefield.
