So, I have gotten feedback from the community, and the general consensus is that the Amarr Commando is underpowered, and the reason why it is underpowered is because it is overshadowed by the Amarr Assault and the Amarr Assault is better with the two weapons the Amarr Commando gets a bonus to. The only viable option for an Amarr Commando for the current meta is dual ascr, which lacks variety and restricts the Commando greatly. Here is my proposal for the Amarr Commando.
A Change to Bonus Amarr Commandos general use fit should be a Laser Rifle and a Scrambler Rifle (or Ascr). However the Laser Rifle deals about 700-800 more damage on an Amarr Assault than a Amarr Commando, which is the one that receives a damage buff. Also, the Scrambler Rifle is only viable currently on an Amarr Assault with the harsh heat build-up. So what I suggest is to keep the current bonuses on both the suits, but add two new bonuses to the Commando to make it viable.
Bonuses added: +5 percent reduction to cooldown time of laser weapons per level: At proto this is a +50 percent decrease to cooldown coupled with the laser weapons' operation bonus. This makes it more viable to fit a laser on an Amarr Commando, along with the Scrambler Rifle. It also lets you do charge shots quicker on the Amarr Commando do to the decreased cooldown. +5 percent reduction to overheat damage per level: One of the other reasons that the Amarr Commando is underpowered is how quickly the scr overheats and how often you take damage from that overheat. So by reducing the amount of damage this helps players who haven't memorized the amount of shots it takes to overheat. It also makes since considering the Commando is a heavy suit.
These bonuses help the Amarr Commando greatly without making it OP. I would like to see CPM feedback on this topic as well. One of the reasons I am pushing for this bonus is in part because of the recent Scr nerf, and also in part of seeing too many dual Ascr Amarr Commandos too often.

Another note, this is feedback directly pointed at the Amarr Commando, I am not talking about the Scrambler Rifle in here. This is not a Scr thread.

Its the damn over heat and the fact that it does too much damage to armour and is given its retard3d heat build up as a counter because people crying that they were dying to fast in ther sheild suits. The Amarr Commando is not fine, as noted by how 21/24 people I interviewed stated the Amarr Commando was UP.

I had an idea that would keep my proposal but might make the scr viable on more suits. What about decreasing the cooldown time across the board by 15%, and make the Commando bonus 2% per level?

With the recent Scr nerf, I feel that the Amarr Assault was put in its place. I do agree on the Scr being viable on other suits as well, along with the LR. However I think the Scr and LR should be incredible on the suit it gets bonuses to, and semi-viable on other suits.

Due modern trend i think there is even possible they making basicaly big update for Ps3 as well. And because im not for any kind of this "illuminati cinfirmed" stuff. I still be placed in team "yup still dust only" for now. Ergo I believe adition of new racials should be on place, with proper reoptimization etc. Yes, I would love a Breach Laser Rifle "if" the PS3 could handle it. And if it can, then awesome! But I'm patient and willing to wait.

Speaking as a person who has had amarr commando at 5 since they didn't even have *slots*, this probably makes me one of maybe ten people who had amarr commando at max level at that time, and as someone who used to play with Aero Yassavi - the original amarr commando - quite often. The Amarr commando is really ONLY restricted by the weapons available to it (and the fact that the assault uses ONE of those weapons better than a commando at a time). Amarr commando is actually quite durable and rather strong, though it suffers in the repair department, using both a laser rifle and a scrambler rifle the amarr commando is an INCREDIBLY versatile 'all ranges' fighter (surpassing what ANY other commando can do). Yes the Amarr assault can do similar damage up until the point that the commando has to stop firing and only surpasses the commandos output afterwards, but it lacks the extreme reloading speed (on weapon types that do require frequent reloading) and moreover it lacks the versatility the commando has. An amarr assault using a laser rifle is predictable, it has to stay at its 'safe' range, an amarr commando can fire the laser rifle while closing with its target then switch over to a scrambler and melt them there. It would be beneficial for ALL amarr dropsuits to have new light, heavy and sidearm weapons introduced (preferably one or two that don't have 'heat' as a major mechanic), rather than having to tweak constantly because of the bonuses on a single suit. No way, were you one of the Commando 5?

Yes, all forms of cooldown, and I was thinking 50% at first but I was scared of making it to overpowered, so I made it 25% which coupled with a level 5 scr operation skill is still 50%.
