Today the good people over at Fatal Absolution and Ancient Exiles. were kind enough to educate me on how ineffective my squishy GalScout fits are when trying to slay people in a city; they did this by slaughtering me and blowing me up with Mass Drivers more consecutive times than I can ever remember.
So now I am here looking for GalScout fits that work well for slaying with a Shotgun.
Also, I'm looking for a fit that works well for suicide runs. For some reason I really enjoy going on crazy suicide runs with my GalScout which, though it contributes to a lot of my deaths obviously, is very fun.
Anyone have some fitting advice?
Unfortunately mass driver highground spam is real in PC especially against the big nerd corps like FA, not sure what to even do about since Im a scrub.
Dont get seen, thats pretty much the only personal level advice for this. I've had a tiny bit of success vs. excessive mass driver spam by using a x3 dampener min assault shotgunner, but it doesnt have the same functionality as a scout does, so its not a perfect replacement.
You would probably need to put some teamwide effort into owning the high ground or introducing mass drive spam yourself, but this will be ineffective unless your team has the skill level to compete with these guys in general since you will get blown the **** out regardless if you dont.
FA will generally have some people running some Rattatis with Agimus/AR or some other setup with myofibrils, often camping high ground, even if you come up to them and shotgun them right in the ass, they will grasshopper up and you will be in deep **** pretty soon as they come down. This wouldnt be as much of an issue except that on a team level FA usually wrecks everyone so you will basically be alone most of the time.
Is rough problem, good luck.
EDIT: just to make it explicit, you cannot fit your way out of this problem. Keep your dampening up (should go without saying in PC) and dont be seen, or have some sort of team wide counter, thats the only way you're going to get out of it.
