So I just finished the event on my alt. I finished after 2 days on my main. But finishing on my alt was a stryggle, funny but also depressing.
It is amazing how this game makes you protostomp in a full proto squad. This is a winning strategy so powerfull that it is game breaking.
I was playing solo on my alt with basic and a littlie bit of adv. gear. Getting thrown innto the wolfes in round after round made me realize two things:
This game is realy realy funny when you can get innto a battle without protostomping 1337 noobslayers. The problem is that most of the time you are up against protosquads. 1 vs 1 with adv. vs pro gear is not a problem. 1 vs 4 with proto everything = not a chance in He!l.
I am holy convinced that CCP needs to remove squads from pubs, especially ambush!
Now, back to protostomp all day long with DMG. :) |

I agree squads should be removed from pubs, but my gf just started playing & i help her level up by playing her character after mine is maxed. That said with no sp invested a shotgun scout with melee nades can destroy a protosquads day. Also, a railrifle at range can wreck. there is more at work then proto. You just gotta find what works for you

yes offcourse. I prefer to win and have fun.... So I go full proto/******, FOTM FTW.
What I am saying is that me/you/we/CCP is destroying the game with this mechanic.... |

Agrees. I got the 514 kills mostly with shotgun. also the basic RR and SCR is ok.
I tried to bring back the murder taxi with HMG at the end but i kinda failed, to many turrets and OP oponents :) |

As part of the DMG squad(s) stomping your alt, I approve of this thread 
2 years down the line, why the hell are we leaving stomps down to player choice ??
I think we have 2 years of evidence that the players will choose to stomp, almost everytime.
Public Contracts should have restrictions, it is the only base for a casual gamemode in Dust, yet it allows you to run fittings that are used in the end-gamemode (PC) It is well past time something was changed ANYTHING!!!

It's squads! Squads are clearly causing this problem. Er, maybe it's the stat modifiers that you spent the whole first part of the post talking about?
