Why would anyone want to attack when the battles just disappear after you plan your day around being on Dust at a set time?

I was told of it happening to people as early as a week ago.
The point is that along with the mediocre mechanics of PC gives no reason for it to be anything but dead.
We need a form of battle that does not have to be scheduled 1 - 3 days in advance. I will say what I have been saying for well over 2 years now, "People do not want a game to feel like a job".

PC was ever anything less than care bear fufu land????
Oh no a big bad corp is attacking, better get ringers.
Oh no someone is mad at us better lock our district.
So on and so on...... |

"PC was ever anything less than care bear fufu land??" Lol If you did not know there were many wars in PC, sadly none of this was/is ever noticed by the rest of the community. To be part of it you literally have to be in it.
Oh no a waaaarrr. Yes people fought each other a couple of times every 48 hours while regenerating clones in between. Sounds like a real battle to me.
I have seen bigger "wars" play out over the course of a day in FW of constant 32 man syncs battling for pure bragging rights.
Sorry bro, you are not going to convince me that fighting once a day per district is anything more than care bear fufu land.
Just like no one is ever going to convince me that an "end game" centered around scheduling battles 1 - 3 days later is actually an end game at all.
To each his own I suppose.

Lag is real, but "Mods" are a terrible excuse to getting schooled.
I will never understand why lag is soooo much more persistent in PC which you would think should have the least lag.
I can agree with the mod thing being bullshit.
I have done some testing on the most advanced modding you can do and found it to only be a benefit in specific situations while being a disadvantage in all other areas.

Because you have people from different servers playing in the same map. For instance south american corps and north american corps go at it all the time.
The same thing happens in FW hundreds of times a day and for me has never once even gotten half as bad as I have seen in tons of PCs. |

For a corp to generate 1 clone pack a day assuming they never maintain a district they must have roughly 31 players generating 800 CP per day.
Once they own a district they have to have roughly 18 and must also generate whatever the ISK amount is that I can not remember.
This is to launch a battle everyday which obviously is not required. Remember that any follow up attacks have the same numbers making costs doubled or more unless you have a very good team.
How many corps out there are even close to the activity numbers to do this even every 3 days?
How many of the corps that do generate those numbers are nothing more than farm corps who would never accomplish anything in PC?
How many of the corps with enough activity AND not a farm corp have that activity centralized around 16 pure proto players being online at the same time?
How many of those 16 online full proto players feel like dealing with the lag and various other problems for what will in reality end up being a meager payout on an individual basis? |

We need the raiding that was talked about a while back. Simply put I will never be making an effort to join something that requires me build my day around a couple of matches in a video game and I work at home so could easily do it.
How can we expect those that work or go to school to manage this broken mechanic with any amount of consistency?
Getting a district in Dust for most corps is like everyone being given a job. Scotty will hand you down a work schedule and if you are not online everyone is going to be unhappy with you. How can this be considered fun? |

This is what I'm not understanding either and someone posed a question about , if PC's were ran more like FW would that be better for all involved ? I didn't read that thread but I'm reading this one ( this one is good ) and that lag issue , I just couldn't understand what or why is it such an issue in PC matches ?
You would think PC would be better as in general there is less suit diversity than in pubs or FW. A real PC is almost guaranteed to be 100% proto while FW and pubs even with skins you can still easily have 32 different suits.
I can not see the argument on it being people from further away because I have seen plenty of asian and latino corps everywhere else in the game with no personal effect. |

I feel like the worst thing you can do is do any type of restock. It is almost like that connection to TQ gets stuck open and eats up some of your connection.
The main channels to delete are the ones that there is a lot of typing going on in. Smaller channels seem to have little effect. |
