Being able to pick up ammo from downed players who use the same weapon that you have. it would help some what and not force players to constantly put down nano hives, or go to supply depos.
it has to be the identical weapon, like a tier 1 breach rifle can only give ammo to another teir 1 breach rifle. They don't have to give the entire supply of ammo, maybe around 1/3 the amount the person had on them before they died. |

I thought I read somewhere or they said in a video that we were going to be able to loot enemy corpses to take there guns and suit mods ect. to put in our armory stash and use to make our own load-outs with. |

You would have to loot the body before it desintigrates it seems as if dropsuits have an automatic self destruct going on if the users life signs go dead. I would assume this works in the same way Caspules do when the suit/capsule detects a death like event about to occur it automaticly kills the body in order for it to be reborn. |

And they could place a symbol above the weapon, like three bullets lined up besides one another to indicate that there is useable ammo in that discarded weapon. The weapon would vanish once all the ammo has been looted, or if it's time limit ends. |

If I was going onto a future battlefield where nanobots build and break down everything that quickly, I would not want my gun recovered by the enemy so easily. I imagine salvaging will give raw materials back after the battle, but you would still need the BPCs to do anything with the stuff. |

If I was on a future battlefield where nanobots build and breakdown everything so easily, I would want the nanobots to obliterate all hostiles in my path without having to fire a shot. NANOBOT BOMB FTW! But apparently, having nanobots operate outside of containment fields is bad idea akin to pandora's box and may never happen. Oh well.
PS: maybe it's just a fluke or poor perception, but it seems like I pickup ammo on rare ocassions from bodies, when I'm not near nanohives or supply stations... |
