1. I think every player understands that a free to play game is going to have Micro-transactions... soooooo sarcasm 
2. I don't think anybody thinks your "big bad and greedy". However, "incompetent" is a whole other story  .
Now I don't know if its your numerous years of being a CCP employee or the education level requirement to perform your job; I'm just going to assume a little bit of both, but you cannot (in all honesty) post the above and feel just a tiny bit misleading?
Honestly, the conception of the warbarge itself, was just a method to farm the whales. Augmented Ammo (Maxed out) is basically a free damage Mod on your suit lol.
Furthermore, you make it seem like your providing a premium service, yet your game is riddle with bugs, glitches, and poor sever stability. 8123 may be a bit crazy but I think he has every right to complain, and he's not completely wrong either.
Sooooo can we focus on fixing the game, and not bashing the crazyz with half-truths and backwards logic???

I think it's a bit unfair to take this comment out of context. The comment was in response to a topic claiming that the experimental lab was particularly pay to win. However, whilst you can use real money to get officer from the lab, you can also do it without, and can obtain officer without much difficulty elsewhere, without using real money. In this respect the system isn't much different to most micro-transactions, and certainly doesn't fit into the usual definition of pay to win.
Now, this is not to say there aren't other elements of the game that start to get a bit pay to win. The augmented ammo I agree with you about. Whilst, technically you can get this without aurum, it takes a long time. Using aurum this time can be drastically cut. For such a large and direct advantage on the battlefield, I feel this is definitely getting into pay to win territory, even if it's not technically there. |
