I know this is probably a dumb thing to ask but does the valor, sever, or raven Assault c-1 caldari visual customization Dropsuit blueprints a actual Dropsuit or just something that changes the look of those certain dropsuits? Thanks in advance :)

Right now it is an actual colored dropsuit BPO.
CCP is going to take those in 1.3 i think and replace them with a STD BPO (same thing just minus the skin) and give you a skin of the color pattern that can be applied to your BPO or any other suit that is the same.
so
'Raven' Assault C-1 BPO
will become
Assault C-1 BPO
'Raven' Skin
and you could take that 'Raven' Skin and put it on your Assault ck.0 if you wanted.
Because beer, that's why.

So it's a Dropsuit with the raven skin on it? So if I bought it then ccp replaced it I would get the regular assault c-1 blueprint and the raven skin blueprint as separate items?

Yes.
And and after they are split they will also become tradable items.

Just keep in mind it's not clear when CCP will finish separating SKINs from dropsuits, so you may be stuck with just the dropsuit BPO for a while.
