its will reduce the officer gear, but i never use them .... i make money from them...... absolutely not good for me :(
n i always get stupid modules from stupid box, i think its ok to take some std or adv wep out of box, cuz no more officer wep from lab

i think ccp should do something to component, dont just make us sell them for some isk. mayb cost some component when claiming wep , so ppl wont get officer gear that easy,they have to go battle instead sitting there n do some trading. n its balanced lol

The loss to earn ratio of officer gear being produced that much is TOO DAMN HIGH! Think about it, people in PC's use officer gear a lot. Let's say, 1 mil for a Frame's, for example. They take that suit into battle, either die quickly or survive long enough to win the match without losing too much gear. When dying quickly, that's a repeated loss of 1 mil each spawn (considering that you respawn with the same fit). But, on the other hand, winning the match results in a loss of currency for the other PC. Too much officer gear opposing to their fresh protos lose Corp ISK, and player ISK as well (because of death).
ppl choose to run officer gear by theirselves, n i guess they r pretty rich n can afford them, they r probably those who get most isk from pc, so thats not a question i think, aot friend of mine dont care losing those gear, cuz they can afford anyways...... n they enjoy the game cuz no need to worry about running out of isk
