We know for a fact that this is something the majority of the DUST 514 player base wants, and has been asking for ever since the first respec ever happened. Naturally there will be players who don't need this, sure. You can keep it as a souvenir or you can chose not to participate...
Also, it's quite clear that no matter what event or update we do, there will be players who disagree, or complain. Anyhoo, this is for the greater good. I was trying my best not to say this, but I really do think 514 kills is too much. At least for me. People are pretty busy, and taking time from their lives just for a skill tree respec that sounds REALLY GOOD, seems impossible to those who have no time on their hands.
I dunno what else to say, because that is the gist of my argument. I get the challenging part of the event, but it just seems too exclusive for those who are able to play a lot for that 7 day range.
Just an idea, feel free to criticize: Maybe base the next event's grand reward on WP (war points)? It may seem too logi rich, but to be honest, you don't see people tryharding their ***** off to use officer logi. Most of the time, I'd say they'd use officer assault, to get people off of objectives, push, and hold. Logi's can't do that, they can keep the team alive, regardless of how efficient the gear your teammates are running. I don't see much people running logi in pubs, so I guess it would be a fair alternative instead of pure assault. Do you kind of get what I'm saying? Make WP a thing, so we can see an increase in logis to keep assaults or heavies still in line. My opinion is there are too little logis running out there.
Of course, too many logis and you have a broken team. Healers healing healers, not very good. But assaults can get WP too. IDK, if you have any refutes, please tell me. I would like to see the side I am missing.
