hey is there any way we can get a setting to lower the graphics we are getting to get less lag. Really i don't care if their is red stuff in the air or if i can see the grass on the hills, can make softer clouds for fog maps, hmm on sec thought get that red junk out should work fine. If this game was on PS4 I may not have to ask but seeing how its not, plz hook us up
FYI, all my lag started on this game after you added both these thing! It was great before that, now it just lagging every other match.
broadband speed test about 129 Mbps down 35 Mbps up from IOWA to Chicago IL not sure where the servers for PS are! Speed I'm paying for as an employee of my ISP is 150 Mbps down 50 Mbps up.

Will pay for worse graphics.
(Your internet speed is not to blame, Darling. I'm pushing 1GB up/down, and I lag very often.)

This shouldn't annoy me as much as it does, but can we stop calling low fps 'lag'? Yeah, yeah, I know it's kinda moved into a more colloquial use to describe anything that happens slower than it should, but still.
You do get a bit of network lag in Dust - especially when you're playing from Australia - but the consistently low fps we get is the PS3 struggling to render the next frame in time.
Something is killing new player retention.

But still noting, example Domination, map, objective A is in city, aka meat grinder map. Before the red stuff in the air was added and the bushes to the ground i hardly got lag on that map, funny how after both these thing was added the map became almost unplayable for me 98% of the time. I cant go in the city at all unless i want about 2 fps lag for the rest of the map even if i go back out side of the city, sorry but lower graphics is need more for performance/playability then anything or some other version of game play that loads less detail of the map,
P.S. where the hell you get off saying stop calling low fps 'lag' what you have a hacked PC with PS3 chip in it running two nvidia titans or something and never get any lower then 45 fps. When I warp across the map and getting nothing for fps no matter what the rest of the match something needs done, not sure why you wouldn't want the Dev team to do this right so we quit losing player left and right, been in a pub match lately gl getting and keep a full team on both sides, fix performance and put in a meta limit in pub matches with them two things should be able to keep what we have at less if not get more!
P.P.S if i miss understand what your say then sorry but this needs worked on asap

It's cool man we're agreeing on this! I was just being picky because when I was growing up 'lag' specifically meant high network latency. If you had low framerates you wouldn't say you were lagging because that would imply it was being caused by a slow network. I do understand that 'lag' has grown to mean nearly anything that's going slowly - whether it be high network latency, low framerate, unresponsive menus, long loading screens etc. It's a petty thing for me to complain about really.
I suffer from low fps just as much as the next guy, but I also suffer from a decent amount of network lag since I'm playing from Australia. I do not have the fabled SLI Titan X PS3 you speak of, but damn it sounds nice!

Our graphics are low already. We're about one tier away from cod:advanced warfare on ps3/ps4. Can you believe it? This game has better graphics that a game from a major devoloper/company that sold millions of copies.

I was in the closed beta and it worked fine before they started adding shine to the game, I just want the game was before the shine like it was in closed beta. The game would still hiccup every now and then just not like it does now!
a.k.a un-polish it already! game roll back please
