I'm curious how many people here consider 8213 an elite vet.
Every time I saw him in PC, he was absolutely underwhelming as infantry, and only a decent tanker at best.

Pretty much my thoughts as well.
He's been around for forever, but I never went into a PC and said "Damn, there goes 8213, tearing it up again".

See above.
"Oh look, there goes "x" dropping 20 bombs again like its nothing."
People who can consistently perform at a high level.
You know who is elite when you get in the warbarge. You look at the name and know that they will be a problem.

Team pushes, retakes homepoint, but loses all of city socket. An elite player is a player that would get picked for PC and you don't even have to tell them what to do or where they are stationed, because Elite players have played enough PC to know where they need to go at the start and what they are good at. Kaiser for instance...crazy good running into the city, getting links in pits and pocket Dagger- Slayer Maurauder-Slayer Regnum- He would wait for uplinks Dagger-Homepoint King. etc. TLDR: An Elite Player is someone who knows a good FC from a bad FC Glad that my crowning achievement in dust is "best home point b*tch".....
To be fair, you had insane talent at holding homepoint.
People would literally have to send 3 guys out there to take it.

I attribute that to people being too dumb to run flux grenades on their suits and me being dumb enough to run 3 complex damps on a gal scout.
I love the 3x damp Gal scout.
Ran a pub with some friends the other day vs some AE and others.
3 damps and a cloak, I only got killed because I got trapped near a CRU and couldn't get out of the way in time.
You can run away from so many fights and be really hard to find with 3 damps and a cloak.

I actually had 8213 send me hatemail for just that.
He was mad I didn't try to 1v1 his Amarr Assault in a Min Scout.
But I always came back to shoot at him whenever he put his attention elsewhere
