Hey I just want to tell you, the skins are actually a memory enhancing feature.
The are GOOD for the game. Lemme see if i get this right..
It is more taxing on memory for the current unique dropsuit color schemes to be in game.
By splitting them off of BPOs they actually improve memory. CCP gives us skins that aren't taxing because they apply to any suit not a specific suit.
Suits become normalized. like an Assault C-1 is generic and can take any skin assigned to it whereas, 'Raven' and 'Covenant' are unique profiles costing the game performance due to memory consumption. It has to load all of those in your inventory whether you use them or not.
Its cool tho, bc CCP is going to give us those skins, but 'Raven' and 'Covenant' will not be seperate suits, they will be "C-1" and we cans tick the skins on them if we wish.
It's so much better overall.

If you have 'Raven' BPO it is coded as "Raven" C-1 BPO, seperate form say a 'Covenant' C-1 BPO.
it sucks for the game's memory
CCP splits the skin off of it, now that Raven and Covenant and Dren and all of the variants are the same thing, a C-1.
Game only has to load one C-1 profile instead of all you own.
CCP is cool though bc we get our skins for those BPOs if we want, and the skins are no problem for the game.
Instead of 3 uniques and 3 skins we get 1 unique and any skins.
so much easier on the game.
