I say the swarm nerf and bonus change towards the swarms were a good idea, especially since I'm a dropship user. But the officer swarm launcher should never have got this range nerf. Now it is just like every other swarm launcher... I thought all officer weapons were supposed to be amazing, I do not like to spend 500k on a weapon that is almost like the basic..... So please @CCP buff the beacons swarm launcher to what it was once at, yeah yo can nerf the damage a little to counter it but I like to see the officers weapons as what they were designed to be. Now it's just more reasonable. (Honestly, I'm of the opinion that most/every officer weapon could use a nerf) Officer is supposed TO be good, making them like every other weapon would be only paying for the name...

I like the nerf, since officer weapons are so easily obtainable now I think its good they nerfed it. You are missing the point, it's officer for a reason, it's supposed to have that range because it's officer, why would you use beacons after patch when Regular swarms are pretty much the same

That said, something like a super quick lock on time would work better, as the point of the range nerf was to try to reduce the area denial that Swarms create but in the end officer is officer, why add it if it wont be used

Hey CCP, thanks for the slightly faster experimental swarm launchers we can now use to wave at every hovering incubus. There is no light weapon counter to this tactic. Inb4... But I have to aim it. It's to difficult to hover out of range. So much effort! Is as if the dropship doesn't even fly! +1

Can't wait for them to make officer ads Yup, yesterday I was using caldari commando with galahs rr and wyrkomi swarms, and there was a python out of my reach that was just slaughtering everyone on the green mushroom map, and even if I switched to a beacons swarm, I still wouldn't be able to touch that Python....btw ccp please come out with names for the maps, that would be great as well

Good luck hovering with one of those anywhere nearby. Not everyone is going to have forge/lavs with rail guns

Not everyone has max vehicle fitting skills but they still have to deal with officer AV[/quote No one is going to use a python with bad skills will they? I have never seen a non maxed Python user on the battle field yet, if you find one let me know
