I hope you know that those Steam Machines are just overpriced pre-built PCs with a pre-installed Linux distribution which is free anyway. I can't wrap my head around how stupid the whole idea is.

You can make any pc into a steam machine, or you can choose a pre-built one if you are willing to pay for convenience

I plan on getting a diy pc super combo from newegg and using steam machine for my os, I'll hook it up to my TV so I don't need a monitor, and I'll use my controller to navigate |

It should be ported to cellphones.
Mobile gaming will obviously be replacing console gaming, so may as well get on the right side of history.

Yes, eventually, I would love to play dust on some future phone, for now, though, porting to steam os is the best choice

the current top models of mobile phones have around the processing power of the ps3 thus it is certainly possible.

True, the Ps3 also has the power of the Ps3 and even it has trouble running dust, five years from now, though, those cell phones ought to be the eventual target

I'll take playing Dust on GBC over PC or XboxOne any day, kb/m can bite my ass and PC will do nothing but ruin the game with cheating and modded attachments the likes of which has never been seen on a console. XboxOne is a self explanatory 'no'.

not much stupider than the idea of the "next gen" game consoles 
And those overpriced steam machines are gonna outpace the power of said consoles pretty damn quickly cause new ones can take advantage of every new generation of CPU and GPU, while the PS4 and Xbox will be slaves to the same rigid technical specifications their entire lifespan |
