Join the channel Militia Team! My goal for this channel is to have 4 man teams that at least try to play as fair as possible in each game. We might have the advantage of a good Swiss, but at least the gear restriction is not to run anything above standard.
I'm a huge militia user myself, and I want to give others the experience of good games, not one-sided games.
Every time I run Militia and die, you never feel bad about losing previous gear because of the cost per item. I'm pretty broke, yet I have the freedom to consistently respawn!

I think OP is trying to create battles where it's Militia vs Militia. At least I hope that's what he's trying to do.

We were meant to use militia to try things out. Then afterwards if we liked it we could skill into it.
Run std if your gonna do this. This would give your players access to their Quafe and Templar gear.

I do have a problem with militia, and I do think it needs to be removed from the game. Between the SP and Skill differential, adding on HORRIBLE gear is just too much.
In my perfect world dust, newbies would get 750k starting ISK alongside pre-leveled skills according to faction (like EVE) so that they start off with decent core skills and a handful of standard suits.
Then I'd remove every single militia thing from the game.
Existing miltia and BPO's get converted to standard.
The gaps between Standard, Advanced, and Prototype make sense.
The gap between militia and standard is completely backwards and purposely detrimental. Not only that, but the effort it takes to skill into level one of a suit is negligible. 24k SP to get into level 1 dropsuit. Don't like it? Don't worry, its 24k SP. You can get that back easily with a match or two thanks to the 750k SP per week cap.

In my perfect world dust, newbies would get 750k starting ISK alongside pre-leveled skills according to faction (like EVE) so that they start off with decent core skills and a handful of standard suits. Then I'd remove every single militia thing from the game. Existing miltia and BPO's get converted to standard. The gaps between Standard, Advanced, and Prototype make sense. The gap between militia and standard is completely backwards and purposely detrimental. Not only that, but the effort it takes to skill into level one of a suit is negligible. 24k SP to get into level 1 dropsuit. Don't like it? Don't worry, its 24k SP. You can get that back easily with a match or two thanks to the 750k SP per week cap.
Yo if you have a problem with militia, why are you here? I just made a channel to have fun in, and to change it up a bit from prototype. You don't have to come here and hate on militia for no reason.
