So Dust's main problem is lack of players, lack of players means less AUR getting bought and less money earned by CCP which is used to develop Dust 514 and transfer it to the next gen console.
There is only one solution to this:
TO ALL DUST 514 PLAYERS! START PLAYING THE LOTTERY! IF YOU WIN, SPEND ALL THE MILLIONS ON THE GAME (BUYING AURUM/GOLD)
Or, advertise Dust on TV, the internet, and all the social media networks.

What's the point about making a video 9 minutes long saying, "Dust is probably not gonna get ported", for one that's way too long to say something so simple and two, just ask anyone who has played Dust for an extended amount of time how CCP treats this game and where it's going ._.
Personally, I don't see the game getting killed off as long as it's free and on the PS3 though.

There is no point if CCP made a name for themselves which caused massive amount of players to quit. Trust is gone and it dont matter how good the game is. If CCP makes a new game i probably wont play it because living through dust was bad enough. The next game will give me an ulser and be the death of me as well as others when i hear people screaming on the other end of the mic.

His knowledge comes from the 7 new bookshelves he had installed in his lamborghini.
Dust can't simply be ported. It has to be rebuilt and redesigned which is why project legion was our best option. Also rattati mention on biomassed that there was old code that was preventing them from making changes which would make porting the game a very rocky process unless you did rebuild some mechanics.
The Trello board also makes a very clear path of what to do for a new dust. All we can hope for is any official response from the portdust situation.

just from the first thing he said you know this guy is full of nothing but hot air
not only that but he is an eve player talking about a community that he doesn't even seem to try to even make any contact with
numbers are well above 2k even if only 2k are concurrent
if eve offline shows us anything is that dust has steadily held on to most of its true player base or at least has the capacity of replenishing any losses
on weekends we get well over 3k players, some of which spend hundreds of dollars weekly or monthly and many of which spend at least 50 annually
some players constantly run boosters throughout the year active and passive
others spend lots of money of keys to open the thousands of boxes they have
if this game wasn't in the least bit profitable there wouldn't be a single dev working on it, and the player base has shown that they are supportive
I don't believe for a second that dust is at its final days, to me anyone that says so is like those self proclaimed prophets that say the world is going to end and it never does
