Skirmish 1.0
Bring it back rattati, it would make far more sense. If there is a defender and an attacker then shouldn't the defender start the match with all the objectives already captured?
Makes sense doesn't it?
The attacker gets the MCC and the defender has to blow it up before it manages to take over the district.
Allow vehicles to help damage the MCC ( makes the battle more dynamic, more unpredictable).
On a side note, I think an OB EVE ship should be the only way to drop OBs. Immersion!

This sounds a lot like a game mode from Battlefield 2142. I miss that game.
The fact that one team starts out with nothing and the other with everything can be a bit scary. However, I find that being able to hold off anenemy advance to be very reearding. I feel even more awesome when my team can push the enemy all the way back to their home base. It requires teamwork and much more effort,from both sides, to either attackor defend.
It does make sense that the defenders would start out with everything though. They were there first. Why not let them have it at the start? Why was it changed from that?
My armor is weak, but my shields are relentless.

I was there at the beginning, with skirmish 1.0.
I think it makes hella good sense for factional warfare and PC battles.
Skirmish 1.0 used its own maps, man they were fun.
I can only imagine what the skirmish 1.0 battles would be like with today's veterans. O.O
In skirmish 1.0, The Outpost is the enemy base, they can spawn at any of their objectives (they start with all objectives captured, however, only one objective is damaging the mcc in the beginning- think of the start of the game as a domination - however, the goal is to hack the objective - which destroys it!.
That one objective is a very forward objective, both teams start equidistant from it. The defenders work to prevent hacks and to counter-hack the objective to prevent its destruction. The attackers work to defeat the defenders and hack the objective, destroying it.
If the defenders manage to hold out on the forward objective long enough, the attacker mcc is forced to retreat, the battle is won for the defenders.
If the attackers manage to destroy the forward objective, the attacker's redline moves forward and allows them into the outpost, where the next three objectives are held (Biomass outpost) by the defenders.
The attacker's MCC is advancing this entire time, the goal of the attackers is to hack the anti-mcc objectives so that the mcc can dock with the outpost and take control of it.
The goal of the defenders is to keep their objectives online by counter hacking, hacking them back online, or killing the attackers. The defenders win this stage by destroying the mcc by holding the objectives.
The attackers win by keeping the damage to the mcc low enough (by hacking the objectives) to allow the mcc to dock with the outpost.
It was intense and cool as ****, I wish this was the mode for factional warfare and PC.

Simple, no. Magically, you're funny.
This can be brought back. It would take some work but damn it would be awesome. I would love to lead a squad of MKNP into this typeof battle. Attacking or defending, it doesn't matter. We will succeed or die in humorous ways.
