Something is odd, though.
I'm in the same TZ as the OP. I only play casually anymore, but when I play this toon (~ 55 mil SP), I get into fairly decent matches that are a mishmash of solo corp players (some may be squadded, some not), solo NPC players and sometimes a pair of squads. Sometimes the squads are on my side, sometimes not.
It doesn't take too long before it's clear which side will win. If I'm on the losing side (I'm often solo), there's not much I, as an individual, can do against one or two organized squads on the other team. Their squad comms and sticking together make it impossible to engage 1 v 1.
I typically run advanced gear (adv suits/weapons, proto modules) and I almost always beat by proto suits.
Keep in mind, my mu is low.
Contrast that with another toon I've been playing, which is at a much lower SP level (~13 mil, iirc). This toon gets into matches of equal or lower leveled players. I see lots of militia gear and weapons in these matches, as well as clearly less "educated" player behaviour.
It would seem OP should end up in these lower tier matches with/against players of similar SP levels and gear.
I still have vague memories of starting this game towards the end of Uprising 1.3, where, as a clueless blueberry, I tended to spawn into kill boxes until I learned not to do that. Even spawning more intelligently, by not knowing the maps I managed to feed kills to a lot of Duvolle AR wielding veterans who already knew the ins and outs of the various maps and the main routes of travel. |

What server do you have selected? If it's "auto" then change it to your region.
Were you in a squad or solo?
What game mode? When I encounter what you are describing I de-select that game mode and find a different lobby.
Honestly, I didn't start to have "fun" with this game until I reached about 20 mil SP (fairly well allocated). |

Outside of spending months of getting shot to hell all day long to gain the skill points necessary to be able to kill one person with a clip instead of shooting the clip into there back then when you reload then turn around you and flick you so you die.
Smurf: what TV size and type are you using? For dust don't use 1080p, use 720p, or if you have component cables use 480p resolution.
Make sure your battle server is set to "America" and not auto.
Make sure that your aim assist is enabled.
