Did it a few times this week and well...
A few rounds later they're broke again. It's just silly when they have isk they get cocky run high end gear and go all lemming.
Another guy I played with told me how a large Corp he played for would give him 50 million at a time without question at least once a week. Saw him running milita weapon's... Wtf?
It's a little irritating how much isk is made somewhat passively from districts ( I know it's less now ), and how few have benefited from doing so little.
Matchmaker seems to expect high end players to carry the team but not all of them have extra income.
Anyway thought over.

You've got a pretty good attitude as far as giving noobs a leg up goes.
They may not have been spending it all on suits, though. Noobs gotta buy skillbooks. Also, if it was their first few times in higher end gear all they would have known is 'this stuff makes me more survivable'. I'm sure they were just taking the opportunity to get some risk-free learning in. |

If people want a mode where it's 16v16 with their best vs whoever they want to wave their e-peen at that's fine by me.
Corp vs Corp is a great thing... I think it would be better if you could challenge anyone you wanted as often as you wanted, but allow corps to accept or deny challenges. Small corps could fight all they want while large corps don't force small corps out of the fun. This way the districts don't need an excuse for isk generation, and e-peens can still be waved when people won't fight you. |

I never see vets in basic gear... EVER. Even if you do it's not the norm. Some corps run nothing but officer in pubs I see it all the time, one squad I kept running into did it all weekend tho it was mostly just bad luck for me since I was never on their team.
Tho not in a real Corp I've given away hunderds of millions and run top gear when redlined to inspire my team tho not a lot. Mostly I was just talking about a good experience and fun with a newb.

It would be funny if players were rewarded during the battle for particular 'jobs' on field, like hacking and keeping point for 5 minutes '+100k'.

Hey man, i got 200+ mil isk. 30 mil SP in 4 guns, and 2 suits. 20 mil SP in ADS...
Forever using a basic calAss...
And most likely using a mlt LR and mlt Magsec...
Being rich, and being dirt cheap are two different things.
I only swing isk to responsible individuals. You buying a skill book? Will swing the isk with a lil extra. You new to dust, but we squad Up often? I swing isk.
One thing i never do, is give isk if someone is just asking. No no no no. I have to offer.
Then newberries might learn to value their isk :D

Dont be then. If you cant afford it its back to the ground for you. Tanking is expensive. I have proto tanks and maxed skills. Its not sustainable. There isnt a reason to have tanks more of a hobby.

Invest in me! So i can master missile ADS.... I know how to AV well with the rail, but i can't deal with people (ADS is expensive after all) so... If i had some isk in my second mortgage, I'll be able to master it with extended flying periods.

Better idea is do as I did and give a new player an APEX. That way they dont go broke using it.
