In my last game I encountered a player who has possible discovered an in balanced moduled and/or skill config.
The player in question is Edited and on 2 occasions in the game I emptied and entire clip (assault rifle and heavy machine gun) into him (once in a heavy suit and once in a lighter one) at close range and his damage bar (armour I believe) didn't even twitch.
I'll admit I have quite low weaponry skills (concentrating on personal defence and drop ships so far) so this might be by design but I just wanted to flag this in case there's a problem so Dust doesn't get a repeat of Eve's early days where CCP err I mean M00 found an 'unbalanced configuration' to the remaining players detriment. |

your talking about how moo made there ships invulnerable and would camps gates/stations in new players starting systems at the gates and stations killing new players, or purposely agroing Concord and and destroying their ships and farming their drops, and even going so far to destroy npc stations and jump gates? |

While it is possible this may be pertaining to a module glitch, it may also very well be a contribution to the hit detection bug.
Also, please refrain from posting other player's in-game IDs on the forums, regardless of their behavior. It's considered rude to throw others under the bus. |

I don't mean to sound difficult but having re-read the rules I don't see anything that states you can't specifically name other players.
At no point have I accused that particular person of cheating or exploiting and I fail to see how a potential bug like this can be investigated by the Devs if they don't know which players loadouts/skill to look at?

and now i'm curious to know who you were talking about lol. Also, i dont see what the problem is. He is not insulting the player, just mentionning the guy seemed to be unkillable. It may give an opportunity for the said player to give its fitting detail and maybe find an explanation other than poor aiming or hit detection bug.

Anywho, I think it may have to do with weapon skills, I have assault rifle to level 5, and many of its other skills bought and trained to at least level 3, and I can kill people without trying.
The militia suits are tin foil armor compared to just 5 - 10 rounds of my rifle. The heavies even lose if not properly modded, if I just unload my clip standing still faster than them.
The sub machine gun is a boss too, solely since it's rate of fire is just so chuck norris like.
