(I think it's sort of expected of me to go all #TeamGallente pro-armour tanking on the forums in the event of a shield buff, so I've come to do my sacred duty.)
I, the glorious Lenin of the armoured revolution, will not let the shield bourgeoisie rise again in silence.
I have, myself, full confidence that if all do their duty, if nothing is neglected, and if the best arrangements are made, as they are being made, we shall prove ourselves once again able to defend our armour tanking, to ride out the storm of hotfixes, and to outlive the menace of tyranny, if necessary for years, if necessary alone. At any rate, that is what we are going to try to do.
That is the resolve of the Gallente Federation - every man of them. That is the will of the armour tankers. The Gallente Federation and the Amarr Empire, linked together in their cause and in their need, will defend to the death their native modules, aiding each other like good comrades to the utmost of their strength. Even though large tracts of DUST and many old and famous fits have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Caldari and all the odious apparatus of shield tanking rule, we shall not flag or fail.
We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in the game, we shall fight on the forums and twitter, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength on Skype, we shall defend our fits, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on facebook, we shall fight on the internet, we shall fight in the threads and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this game or a large part of it were subjugated and broken, then our people beyond the game, armed and guarded by the forum warriors, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the new dev team, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of armour.

This... is not meant to be serious. I suppose it could be if things really do change drastically, but it was more intended as a joke.
