So I have had this idea since I played the Titan Fall beta, I have even posted this idea before so I wish to revisited it.
The premise is that we arn't the only soldiers out there, we are just immortal soldiers. I also think this will tie into the idea that we are "Warlords".
So pretty much in FW matches (maybe even public), there can be 2-3 "mortal" soldiers on the field per player (so a maximum of 96 (48 a side)). These are NPCs that have 50-100 shields and 100-200 armour. They use assault variants of their racial rifle but dealing far less damage. They are coded to push for the objective and defend it, so they will only really appear (talking public matches) during Dominations and Skirmishes. However they cannot hack installations or objectives. They can, however, destroy certain equipment.
Alone, they are extremely weak and easy to kill, generating only 5-10 WP per kill and cannot be revived or repped. However if they group up in a pack, they can take down us immortals. This has said to of been done in lore. Also if they see an allied Immortal charging into a fight, they assist and will follow some. They can not steal kills, if they land a finishing blow, the kill is awarded to the last player who did damage. They will also fight each other so yoi can always sit back and watch two mortal squads fight it out.
For PC, you can hire mortal mercenaries to fight for you at a price that includes both ISK and CP.
This can give the new players a way to get WP as well as change the dynamic on the field as you wouldn't want them to group up but at the same time, immortals pose more of a threat.
Note: Their Deaths will not count towards the Clone Count.

Note: Their Deaths will not count towards the Clone Count. You know as well as I do that even attempting to step onto and battlefield prowled by Immortal Soldiers would be a death sentence. If it wasn't a smouldering laser burn through the chest or a high explosive shell the sheer number of the sources of deadly radiation would ensure mortals rapidly developed cancers of the worst kind to die coughing up their liquifed insides in the dirt. The only difference is that battlefield would then become muddy.
I forgot about this. Why not the mortal soldiers (lore wise) are prisoners who were given a death sentence. Instead of allocating resources for their execution, they (the empires) send them to their deaths to fight in an ever escalating war. To help fund the war, they sell these inmates to Corperations.

Johnny I RP a self deluded, and psychologically conditioned space murderer possessed of the notion that people should be enslaved, broken down culturally, and taught to worship a magic space man hiding behind the cosmos......and being frank I think that's probably got to be the douchiest thing you could ever do to someone.
TIL that Terran from Starcraft are douchebags and True is insane and calls himself Frank.
I get your point though, still would be interesting to see some AI to fight against. Could always implement drones in place of soldiers.
