I just wanted some clarification if possible into if the ability for the attackers to proceed directly up the west flank on crater lake was intentional?
It seems a bit daft to enable the attackers to by pass all of the defences and proceed directly to defence relay A (which green players won't be expecting) which the defenders will have no chance of saving if they haven't anticipated this move
This seems to happen in every game I play now and it makes it difficult to actually play & therefore test the other elements of the first phase as it tends to be over very quickly |

u know in other games where there is a fog of war its encouraged to run through it to flank and whatnot....
look at the battlefield series, theres gates and stuff you can knock down to get to MCOMS same thing applys here.
pretty sure in the next build or 2 they will put up more of an obstruction there on that side |

if it weren't intentional, they should have blocked the areas with the out of bounds zone. it's called strategy, learn it. Just because the enemy team wasn't expectancy it, doesn't mean it should be removed. Adapt or die.
I always spawn in that spawn point to prevent anyone from trying to pull that move, and I succeed 70% of the time.

I tend not to assume anything questionable in a beta is intentional (or even release for that matter) hence the request for confirmation |

remember its still a BETA if it feels like its going to break the flow of battle or giving an unfair atvantage to the enemy they will probably add something there...
keep in mind that the first objectives only need to be defended long enough to drop just the MCC's sheilds |

i believe it will stay, now they may add something there to help defenders because i admit usually they don't defend it, in most games i find myself fighting 3-4 people who run that way and though i may get 1-2 of them i never am capable of killing all of them. |

This pathway is entirely intentional and was added in Replication. In uprising there was no such pathway or way around the front line installations and it was causing issues for defenders who became too easily trapped in their spawn. You weren't around back then to have something different to contrast with the current experience. But take my word that you should be thankful that the pathway exists. |

hm... well... dont be so nubby. i always spawn west of Alpha and protect that side. when i attack i always see people guarding that side. |

seems intentional i look over that flank while i snipe protecting the clone reverse all the time,let them try. why defender dont protect this important flank more i dont even know. |

The issue isn't with the map in this case it's a problem with the defending team. If your not covering your left your going to get over run. Bad team doesn't make a bad map. |

You have to realize that there will be thousands of maps on different worlds. When the game progresses objectives and installations will be dynamic and different every time you play a map.
The same strategy and tactics will not help anyone for those who can not come up with solutions quickly or thoughtfully. |
