I lost 10 games today by an average of over 100 clones, and never once got the enemy MCC into armor. Fastest games ever. It only took an hour and a half to play 10 MFW battles. My last 20k LP has been solely from losses. I haven't budged in MFW standing in 3 months.

A squad of 6 or 8 makes no difference against the 14 to 16 man Q syncs. We may as well of been solo. We called ourselves the masochist squad.

We on the Amarr side would like to thank you for this.
On a serious side, it ebbs and flows. The pendulum will eventually swing back to you guys and then it evens out. I spent two weeks a couple months losing 29 out of 30 FWs for Amarr. So, all jokes aside its an endurance thing. Eventually you will get your vindication from my experience. |

Some queue for the ScR, but most queue for the uplinks. They are essential to any PC corp. It's the best piece of equipment in the game. The rest queue up because they only want to stomp, they don't want a challenge. They'll say they do, but competition is the last thing they want. Then when the tide starts to flow back the Matari way, they are the first ones to leave or switch sides.

Being burnt out on trying to hold land, I've been using fw as my endgame. As have many others.
Since the death of the empress' I've seen a lot more roleplay and faction loyalty from cal/ama.
Stir up the heretics and make a channel. They grow on their own and things get better.

It certainly gets better for Min than it has been this week. They get a few corps Queue syncing every couple months for a couple weeks in a row and turn out some stomps. Then it goes back to AM for a while. Got to say it has been pretty heavy in AM favor lately, but a month ago it was not. If you played in the evening 2200-0200 UTC during that time it was a min stomp party. So they get their licks in, just not lately. |

Q-syncs tend to be specifically within corps and alliancesthat can easily field 16 players at any hour of the day.
Realistically what will happen is AFW will be EZ mode for a few people for a while then one of the major corps will decide to switch sides and play for something else on the minmatar LP store loot list and then people will start bandwagoning to the minmatar side so they don't get their asses pasted sideways by the q-syncs there.
"evening out" is a misnomer as it's just a pendulum that enjoys (very) brief equilibrium as the pushes go back and forth.
WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary. This means Quafe suits are the optimal loadout for killing all of you.

It would seem at the minute that all of the organised hardcore squads are playing for Caldari and Amarr.
Unless I take a bunch of corp members into a fight my teams are new players fresh out the academy. Even when I do take corp members in it is still very very hard fights.
I dont want to sound like a cry baby because I will fight no matter what the odds are but the imbalances in matches recently (both pub and FW) seem to be increasing.
This is the turning point, the rising of the tide.

I gave up on FW, I activated a faction booster, joined the Q sync channel, and there were NO afw games.
game is ******* dead to the point where you waste money buying anything for it!

We fight south american corps q sync all the time as amarrians. Caldari fight the pc tryhard syncs all day.
Fw matchmaking will often put an 8 man against a sync.. Then you bump up to 16 and all of a sudden you're fighting randoms and maybe an 8.
And with our spai network... We know other q's are q'ing...
Maybe worth looking into, yes?

The way I see it, things went suddenly, hidiously wrong for MFW the moment strafe speed was nerfed in the previous patch.
