Be thinking about this.but we have a good amount of nanohive variations. So why not separate the ability to resupply explosives from the normal variants and make it into a munitions nanohive? Sometimes I'm really low on ammo and I drop a hive. And pow it gives me my two grenades and but only enough bullets to survive one more fight. I'd like a hive that supplies ammo and a hive that supplies remotes and grenades. That way it limits grenade spam unless you bring the specific hive to do it.

that idea actually has some worth.
Not that nanohives are op or anything, but this would tune down their power.
Probable implications:
- Logistic suit use incentive: Logis would be more valuable as they could carry both types if needed. - Slight assault/scout tunedown: the hive they carry could either boost normal ammo or nades, not both. - slightly less nade spam, except for people who plan on doing it

Less core nade spam because assaults have to carry ammo for themselves or munitions hives to keep chucking locus.

Have it where only logistics deployed hives can refill grenades.

That would limit grenades to much. I'd rather have a muntions hive. Think of it this way. Either use your grenades tactically for once or bring a munitions hive if you wanna spam em. Because every time I see a video on dust or I'm on the field with a kd padder it annoys me to no end to see them lull out proto nanohives and set up two of em and just hurl core locus. Either learn how to make do with what you have or don't bring it.

Marking topic for later.
Idea has merit.
WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary. This means Quafe suits are the optimal loadout for killing all of you.

I disagree strongly with this notion. I feel that a player asset should always have the ability to be SUPERIOR to any "free" map assets on the field if the player is specialized in that item. The only advantage of map assets should be their 'infinite' ammo and wider radius of effect.
CRUs already have a bonus in having a good radar around it, and slightly random spawn in around it.
and Supply Deopts already have the unique advantage of being able to swap suits.
Put another way, do you feel a map asset turret should be able to out damage a proto tank turret? If not, then logistic tools should be able to outperform their map asset counterparts in some way if properly fit. Amarr Logi uplinks can provide far faster spawn times than a CRU.
So it should be that properly fitted out nano-hives can perform roles that a Supply Depot can not. Currently their is a variant to repair armor, but if another variant is added to refill grenades, then perhaps the Supply Depot should lose that ability.
In short: player assets should be able to outperform free map assets if skilled into properly.

Just limit the depots ability to restock grenades by a small percentage. Derp
