The only way to fix squad stomps is to add a solo mode or remove squads or even make pay better for solo players and leave pay the same for squads so people have an incentive to run solo.

That won't improve Blueberry mentality. Perhaps not. But it will lower proto scrubs wailing on berries that aren't suited up to compete just because they wanna have a high KDR to feel good.
Nirwanda Vaughns 1	Posted - 2015.10.03 10:30:00 - [8] - Quote meta lock would help quite a lot. the reason guys stomping around in proto suits only dominate because many other players hardly use proto. i once posted the difference between a fully skilled proto suit vs a fully skilled standard suit and unskilled standard suit vs fully skilled standard suits and if everyone was using the same tier gear the hp difference is very minimal. if you have a fully skilled std vs a fully skilled proto assault suit you're looking at around 500hp difference compared to 50-100 at the same tier. currently the playerbase isn't big enough to have a seperate section for each tier, i once proposed an option to select security status of where matches take place similar to how sec status of systyems in eve work. now though i porpsed a kinda 'Academy+' mode. in this mode it was Ambush game mode, no vehicles but meta was locked to MLT/STD. this was in order to allow vets to go in with new players to let them get used to the game without coming up against trolling proto stompers and for a place for folk to go and kinda chill out away from the protostomping try hards when needed Please fix my C-II hitpoints!!

In a team based game, why should solo players be given an incentive to not play with other people? Squads are not the problem. Removing squads changes nothing, people will still proto stomp and people will find a way to circumvent it. Why don't solo players squad with people and communicate with them? It's not like you need the SP to make a squad, everyone has access to them straight away. The advantage of a squad is communication, if you're choosing not to take advantage of that it is your loss. A meta lock is more sensible, it limits the gear you can take into battle on a suit meaning these players would have to choose between having a good weapon with less than satisfactory Hp/gear or vice versa. Stop blaming squads cos you want to play solo and get stomped because of it. Blame the real problems, matchmaking and proto stomping. Wanna play eve?

Most of us just want to play, I don't want to spend the few precious hours I have to myself each evening waiting for douchebags to join a squad - I want to play, I want to play a fair and fun game that's all.
